There is a mosque named Khandakar Tola in Sherpur upazila of Bogra district.Although there are currently ruins. Onec upon a time the mosque was a large rectangular mosque. It was a mosque with 3 domes. There were 3 entrances on the east wall and 1 entrance on the north and south. There are 3 mihrabs on the west wall and 4 octagonal towers in the 4 corners of the mosque. During the reign of emperor Shahjahan, the Mughal ruler Moazzam Khan built this mosque in 1632. Moazzem Khan's real name was "Azam Khan Mir Muhammad Baker Iradat Khan".
